Ames Hurricanes has teams in the CICS league in the spring and fall seasons (formerly the OTH League), in the City of Ames 8 on 8 summer league and also in the Iowa Games The "CICS" league is a coed league based in Des Moines metro area for more than 17 years. All participants must be registered with the Iowa Soccer Association (ISA) to participate. Annual registration with ISA can be completed on line as part of league registration. The Hurricanes have participated in this league since its onset and currently have 3 teams registered, one in each division.
The "City of Ames" league is played from June thru August at Inis Grove Park in Ames. The Hurricanes entered 5 summer league teams in 2011
The Iowa Games are played the last weekend in July In 2011 Ames Hurricanes entered 2 mens' teams, 2 coed teams and a ladies team.
