Beginning 2026, Ames Hurricanes will no longer collect fees for any of its events and this will be done 100% through partnerships with other soccer entities and sporting facilities.
April to October - Wednesday evening outdoor soccer at Hunziker Soccer Complex
November to March - Wednesday evening indoor soccer at Nevada Fieldhouse
All year - Sunday morning indoor soccer at Nevada Fieldhouse
April to June and September to October - CICS League Soccer in Des Moines and the surrounding area.
Second Weekend of September - Ancient Rangers Tournament in Blaine, MN
Adult Outdoors will be administered by Ames Soccer Club
You can now register to play pickup soccer outdoors between April and September at Ames Soccer Club Fields. We will play pickup games on Wednesday evenings starting April 1st through the end of September, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm or dusk. We will play on fields 1 or 2. If our numbers are over 27 people we will move to Field 4 which is a full field (11 vs 11).
Bring a red shirt, a white shirt and a blue shirt to each pickup session.

You can either pay for selected months at $20 a month, or you can pay for the full 6 months at a cost of $90 for all 6 months. Payments have a small processing fee or a check option. If you select the Check option, be sure to mail the check as soon as you finish registration. Registration is directly through Ames Soccer Club. To signup click the link and complete the registration. A summary list of the signup steps is below:

- Select Register A Participant/Player
- Either create a New Member or select your Name if already entered
- Enter concussion information and doctor information
- Save and Continue
- Select Ames Hurricanes Pickup Games - Spring 2026
- Select either the specific months you want to play at $20 per month or select the 6-month option for $90 for all 6 months.
- Select Continue, read the waiver, check the waiver box and Continue.
- Select Finish and Check out.
- Select No donation at this time and select Save and Continue
- Choose the injury protection you desire or decline coverage.
- Select payment option CC/Echeck or mail Check. If you select Mail check do this directly after registering so you don't forget to mail the check. Checks made out to Ames Soccer Club. Address:
